Desmond Tutu is an activist and Archbishop in the Anglican Church in South Africa.
As a leader in the anti-apartheid movement and a member of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Mr. Tutu teaches that South Africans must move beyond the pain caused by apartheid and embrace the full potential of their hard-won freedom through the power of forgiveness. His book No Power Without Forgiveness teaches profound spiritual and ideological lessons about the power of forgiveness. No Future Without Forgiveness is also about using the power of forgiveness to move beyond difficult every day conflicts. It underlines forgiveness as an important tool, reward and a gift that an individual can give to him or herself. In the book Mr. Tutu teaches that we must offer forgiveness even when the person who wronged us does not acknowledge our pain or ask for forgiveness. This book is a must read because as humans, we will always encounter life situations that require us to forgive. You can purchase your copy here.
