Poems for Keeps

 poems1.jpg

Oh Master

In the darkness of the night
You constantly told me you loved me
Walking down the streets of Paris
You sang so softly to me
Your Love notes stuck everywhere like a daily calendar
I believe I am already your queen.

In the daylight, proclaim your love to me
Announce me to your people, Oh Master!
Hold me breathlessly and sing your songs again
In the brightness of the day I need to feel special
Just like I did in the night time
