Kate Menson, a new Face of Africa
The striking 23-year-old was discovered in the Accra casting earlier in the year. Her progress throughout this year’s season of M-Net’s Face of Africa has been a constant inspiration to viewers, who discovered earlier in the month that although Kate had auditioned for the search in 2006, she hadn’t qualified at the time because she needed to hone her talent and work on developing her physique.
MNET:Face Of Africa Hopefuls
The search for M-Net’s Face Of Africa has become an African tradition to the faces of many young hopefuls scattered in all parts of Africa. Every year the search for the next Face Of Africa takes place with over 100 hopefuls, and is cut down to the final top 10, from which the winner will be crowned.
With only one day to go before the winner is finally revealed, Africa is waiting with anticipation to see which girl will take the title this year. Whether it will be Sandisa from South Africa, Nokuthula from Zambia, Sola from Nigeria, Joana from Angola, Lucy from Uganda, Hiwot from Ethiopia, Kate from Ghana, Hamamat from Ghana, Alli from Nigeria or Maria from Namibia. One of these girls will walk away with a modeling contract from O-Model, a modeling agency that extends beyond African borders. The Face Of Africa is scheduled to take place in Sunny Sun City, South Africa on the 29 of November 2008. All the best to all the girls as they fly the African flags on the run way.
