Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP) - Acceptance Speech
Hip Hop Pantsula, better known as HHP, is arguably one of the most innovative hip-hop artists in African music today. His latest album, Acceptance Speech, highlights his versatility and great ability to utilize different genres of music (a style he calls Motswako which means ‘mixture’ in Setswana) to bring out a unique hip hop flavor. Even more interesting is his use of a 12 piece band (6 ladies [Bass player, Alto Sax, Trombone, Keyboard, 2 backing singers] and 6 guys[Guitarist, Keyboards, Drums, 2 backing singers and myself, the rapper]) to round out his style. He has performed with Will Downing, Angelina Kidjo, Jamie Cullum, Saul Williams, Snoop Dogg, Kwani Experience, Ringo, Bongo Maffin, Mapumba and many more. » Read more…

Our Babies’ Daddy
Nigerian music superstar, 2face Idibia without a doubt is one of the most noticeable African artists of recent times. His smooth lyrics and pretty boy looks makes him the desire of many young girls across the globe. According to reports in Nigeria, the young star has given in to the desires of the bevy of ladies who flock around him, while satisfying his own desires in the process. Now it appears he has bitten more than he can chew.
Three girls have informed him that they are carrying his babies, although 2face whose real name is Innocent Ujah Idiba is indifferent about their claims. Information has it that about late December, the first of the ladies informed him that she was pregnant but he never took it seriously. Late February, two others came up with similar stories. According to the story, 2face tried to persuade his baby mamas to be to get rid of the ‘unwanted’ pregnancies but the ladies refused. Maybe Mr Innocent isn’t all that innocent.
