World Cup 2014: Fantastic original posters

Written by Shirlene Brown | June 2, 2014 | Leave a Comment

The World Cup starts in just 8 days and the excitement is building.

We are a little behind, but we wanted to share the posters that the World Cup has designed for each team.  We are highlighting our five African countries first (of course).  We also show Italy because they have Bartelli on there (yes, he is African…..African-Italian if we have to quibble about details).

ESPN, who will be broadcasting the World Cup for the last time, commissioned Brazilian artist, Cristiano Siqueira (popularly known as CrisVector), to design 32 posters for their advertising campaign.  CrisVector won a 2011 CLIO Award for his comic pages for AIDES and has done extensive graphic work for illustrations, packaging, magazines and CD covers.  You can catch all his work on his website.

Written by Shirlene Brown | January 8, 2014 | Leave a Comment

Adrien Sauvage is a creative talent.  He loves design, he loves photography, and he is a director.  This multi-pronged creative talent also played basketball professionally for Great Britain (a sport he started playing professionally at the age of 13).

His keen eye for fashion quickly gained him a very high-profile following.  He decided to create his own line to provide more ‘wearable’ clothing, fashion that easily translated from the catwalk to everyday life.  Dress Easy (D.E.) came to fruition and, with no formal training, he started designing. In 201 he established his fashion house, A. Sauvage, designing menswear with an emphasis on perfect cuts and casual elegance.  This expanded to include women’s wear.
