The story that his collection tells is one that will pave way for his future collection not only nationally, but internationally. Looking at his collection and comparing it to other designers, one can tell that this man is not only different but he sure has what it takes to showcase his collection on the same runway with other internationally known designers.

 The MTN Durban fashion week featured established designers like Gideon, Vino, Chimero, Karishma Karishna, Stephan Van Eeden, Craig Native, Lindiwe Khuzwayo, Leigh Schubert and Gavin Rajah. New designers also had an opportunity to showcase what they’ve got to provethey have what it takes to survive in this industry. This year’s collection was more fun , colorful, creative, and very impressively sophisticated. Watch out Jimmy Choo, Mark Jacob, Christian Dior, Keneth Cole and Michael Kors because these African designers are serious about taking over.

Osi Umenyiora was on hand at the 2008 Michael Strahan/Dreier LLP Charity Golf Tournament pre-party and auction benefiting Children’s Rights & Keep A Child Alive. 

The benefit was well attended by other celebrities including Alicia Keys, who performed, Busta Rhymes, Faboulous, Marcus Allen, Julius Erving, Spike Lee, LeToya Luckett from Destiny’s Child, and Eddie George, to name a few.
