Turner Sports announced today that TNT’s Inside the NBA announcers will go barefoot on Mother’s Day, Sun., May 11, in an effort to raise awareness for Samaritan’s Feet, a charitable organization whose mission is to help outfit 10 million impoverished children worldwide with 10 million pairs of shoes in 10 years. Honor your mom by donating to Samaritan’s Feet as they try and raise $64,000 on Mother’s Day to help mom’s in Africa who struggle every day trying to feed and put shoes on her children.

A three-time All-Big 12 Conference selection, he is a strong run defender who has helped his team, the Longhorns, rank sixth in rush defense and finish third nationally.

It is interesting to note that while at William Penn High School, Otah didn’t start in football, but in basketball where he lettered twice. While he was there, he was convinced by his coach to join the football team where he played so well that the coach had him play as a starter for that solitary year.

Xavier Adibi - Virginia Tech Hokies

Xavier Adibi is the kind of player that gets hurt in a game on Monday, and comes back on Thursday to make 8 tackles, including 2 sacks. That’s the kind of player you want in the NFL. He was part of the Hokies most successful linebacker tandems and some have called him one of the best linebackers in college football. His speed is an asset to any team, as is his ability to rush effectively. Speculation is that he will make it to the second round only but that remains to be seen.
