People tend to forget that Charlize Theron is South African. Charlize reminds me of Wyclef Jean in the sense that they wear their country flags like a badge of honor.
Charlize always finds a way to bring the attention back to her home, South Africa be it in interviews or in acceptance speches.
Charlize Theron says she wants to give something positive back to South Africa after her success overseas. She spoke at the launch of the Mpilonhle Health and Computer Unit at Mtubatuba on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast.
Theron’s Africa Out Reach Project and US talk show host Oprah Winfrey’s Angel Network provided lead funding to establish the unit.
