Idris Stars in New Jada Pinkett Smith Film

idris

Yes, yes this is indeed another Idris post.  Your eyes do not deceive you.

This man right here just does it for me and since this is my column you have been warned that I will be showing ‘my’ Idris love, and more love.

And yes it is true….his magnificence made ya girl shed a tear or two.

Moving on….

Idris will star  in Jada Pinkett-Smith’s directorial and screenwriting debut, “The Human Contract”. Will Smith and his producing partner James Lassiter will produce through their Overbrook Entertainment.

The Human Contract is about a successful corporate type who harbors a deep, dark secret.  He befriends a free-spirited woman who encourages him to ditch his stuffy lifestyle and live life in reckless abandon.  Idris will play the character of Larry.

Idris has come a long way from the days of Stringer Bell on the HBO hit series “The Wire”.  He started 2007 with the romantic movie  ”Daddy’s Little Girls” as the lead.  He has also been in the movies “The Reaping”, “28 Weeks Later”, ”American Gangster” and the upcoming movie, “This Christmas“.

He has already filmed “The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency” with Jill Scott and “Prom Night”.  He is currently filming “The Human Contract” and “RocknRolla”.

It is wonderful to finally have an African leading man in Hollywood!  I know we have Djimon Honsou so save your energy…..it is all about ‘my’ Idris!
