Malaak Compton-Rock is a judge on the Big Give and has a heart for giving. This diva is Chris Rock’s wife and they founded Angel Rock, a foundation dedicated to helping those in need.
They have taken the children to South Africa for the grand opening of Oprah’s school, donated money to help children who are victims of HIV/AIDS in South Africa, and are actively involved in making a difference. Malaak has worked with UNICEF and used her experience here to found created Styleworks, a nonprofit that provides full makeovers (clothing and skincare)for women on welfare and in shelters. She also works with Safe Horizon, and Champions for Children.
The Rocks include their children in their philanthropic endeavors (seen here in a picture with Nelson Mandela) and are cultivating an understanding of Africa in the children. Kudos to them for allowing the children to get actively involved.
