My parents asked me over and over this past summer who this girl that was on every news channel going to jail was. She had a police escort and everything so they thought she had to be somebody. I told them her name was Paris Hilton and then they asked what she was famous for.
Um, well she…..I really had no answer.
The girl is famous for being a party girl. There’s that famous sex tape too but I digress.
Well that lil stint in county jail made her want to up her humanitarian efforts. And Rwanda seems like a perfect place for a girl like Paris to go spread her good cheer, right?
“I want to travel the world,” the 26-year-old socialite says in an interview posted on Extra’s website. “I feel like there’s a lot I can do, and a lot I can do to help. I know (Rwanda) went through a lot of traumatic experiences, and I fel like if I go there, I can help save some people’s lives.”
The Playing for Good Foundation announced last week that Hilton’s philanthropic trip to Rwanda has been postponed due to restructuring of the children’s charity. On her itinerary: visits to schools and health-care clinics.
Hilton told “Extra” she will now pack her bags for the African country sometime next year.
Is that hot? You tell me.
