Richard from Tanzania wins Big Brother Africa 2

richard

Big Brother is the biggest reality show on TV in which a number of strangers live in an isolated house and compete to win a cash prize with prime-time viewing in almost 70 countries.

The first African installment put seven men and five women together under one roof to compete for the prize of $50 000.  The show became a huge hit and Cherise Makubale representing Zambia snatched the grand prize.

This second version of the popular show had contestants from Angola (Tatiana), Botswana (Justice), Ghana (Kwaku), Kenya (Jeff), Malawi (Code), Namibia (Meryl), Nigeria (Ofunneka), South Africa (Lerato), Tanzania (Richard), Uganda (Maureen), Zambia (Maxwell), and Zimbabwe (Bertha).

The show was not without controversy.  The very married Richard fell in love with Titiana on the show.  And blame the consumption of alcohol on the ‘threesome’ that may or may not have occured involving Mr. Married Man.  But still female fans loved Richard for professing his deep devotion for his wife while on the show.

Wow!  Just wow on that one.

Moving on…Richard is a film student and plans to use his prize money of $100,000 to further his film career.  In one of his conversations in the house, Richard told fellow housemates that Africa has some of the best film producers in the world, and the continent could easily take on Hollywood if there would be a budget equivalent to what the Hollywood producers had.

Let’s see what kind of film he ends up giving to the world.

Congratulations to Richard and let’s hope he has the florists phone number on speed dial for his wife AND that some of those winnings go to some “I’m sorry” CARATS for her finger.  I’m just saying……

Richard is a disgrace. He does not have respect for women. His winning the money portrays that Africa is deeply patriachal and is still giving credit to the male ego that perceives virility in wrongdoings. Can you see this reflecting on Tatiana just being voted for by Angola only. Other African nations can not vote for her because they see her as a whore..ofcourse, Richard called her that in the house. She is the victim just as Ricky is a victim. Richard needs to ask for forgiveness from all the women he had used to get this far- Ricky, tatianna nad even Ofunneka whom he fingered under alcohol. Men like Richard should be treated with disgust not with appreciation as is being done now. THIS IS A BIG LESSON FOR WOMEN. WE END UP BEING LOSERS WHILE THE HEARTLESS MALES GET THE CHIPS HIGH.
