T-Pain had a very good run last year so his topping the list of BET Award nominations is very much in the right direction. While the “Buy U a Drink” superstar celebrates his 5 nods in the upcoming event and his almost certain win of at least one statuette, for many of his fans in Ghana, visiting the land of gold would be the perfect end to an incredibly successful year.
There is a lot of talk about T-Pain visiting Ghana in June and the news has been received with immense excitement and anticipation. His Ghanaian fans are simply dying to see him perform. T-Pain is largely seen in Africa as an Akon sidekick and since Akon is loved and adored in Ghana, the same can be said for T-Pain. Akon has been to Ghana several times and what Ghanaians want more of at the moment is to see ‘Mr Pain’ live in concert. Most of the people I spoke to really want to see and hear what T-Pain would sound like when performing live without the electronically enhanced voice. Certainly T-pain will not disappoint. Whatever happens, yours truly will be there to give you the info blow by blow.
