YOU are cordially invited to the 10th Annual Official African Festival “FestAfrica” on Saturday August 11th & 12th at the Veterans Plaza, Silver Spring Civic Center from 1pm-8pm on both days.

The Festival will feature music by local and international artists & dance performances, African cuisine, vendors, games for children, health fair, career fair, and tourism fair. The theme for the festival is “Serving & Touring Africa” promoting tourism and community service in African countries.

This year FestAfrica is bringing a NEW ADDITION in CELEBRATING 10 years of service to the community; Recognizing Africans home and abroad, achieving excellence and making a significant contribution to the society. SUBMIT YOUR NOMINATION of an individual or organization making a great and positive impact in the community with their talents & resources. Do not let their efforts go to waste, nominate someone, and let us celebrate & award them during the festival.
