Idris Elba seems to be able to rack up all kinds of roles.  From a man who is fighting to get his kids back in Tyler Perry’s ‘Daddy’s Little Girls‘, to an executive who is fighting to save his family from an obsessed temp in Obessed, or the thug in The Wire, American Gangster, and RocknRolla, he has proven that he is versatile and a major box-office draw.

His latest film endeavor is ‘The Losers‘, a movie that is based on a comic book about the upside of being a former CIA black-ops squad member that has been hung out to dry by your employer.  He will be acting alongside Zoe Saldana who is the only female ‘loser’.  Elba will play a character named Roque, the group’s scarred second-in-command who is motivated by money. Saldana will be Aisha, a cold-blooded loose cannon. Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be Clay and Columbus Short (Stomp the Yard) will be Pooch.

Personally this much sexy testosterone in one movie will be enough to get me to watch the film. The Losers is currently in production and is based on a DC-Vertigo comic. It will be directed by Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard).
