Inale – An African musical fairytale
Inale is an African fairytale set to music. Produced by Jeta Amata, it tells the story of Inale, the beautiful daughter of the great King Oche, of the Idoma people in Idomaland, Nigeria. According to tradition, her beloved Odeh must win the wrestling tournament to win her hand in marriage. A stranger appears, who challenges not only the tradition of the village but the strength of Odeh and Inale’s true love. The story of how Odeh works to win his love’s hand-in-marriage back unfolds in this well-filmed movie.
Caroline Chikezie (BBC’s Footballer’s Wives, Aeon Flux, Eragon) is Inale and Hakeem Kae-Kazim (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Hotel Rwanda, Black Gold) is Odeh, Ini Edo (Battle for Pride, Darkest Day, League of Gentlemen) is Omada, Mbong Amata (Amazing Grace, Black Gold) is Keke, Dede Mabiaku (Black Gold) is King Oche.
Jeta Amata continues to push the envelope on quality Nollywood movies with great storylines and A-list actors. He is helping introduce Hollywood to Nollywood in great artistic form.
