Nollywood is hitting the bigtime! Thanks to a deal signed with Brandcast Media Inc., folks in the US will now be able to watch Nollywood movies on Xfinity on Demand, Cox or Time Warner beginning February 1, 2013.

Nollywood is the leader in the African movie industry, and is currently the third-largest producer of feature films in the world, ranking only behind Hollywood in the United States and India’s Bollywood as number two. This historic move will enable a broader audience to have access to some of the best movies that Nollywood has to offer.
Now people in the US can follow some of the hottest Nollywood actors and actresses including Van Vicker, Michael Ezuruonye, Omotola Ekeinde, Rita Dominic, Ini Edo, and Genevieve Nnaji to name a few. This move will enable the US audiences to access higher quality movies they might not have access to otherwise, from the comfort of their own homes.
To learn more about this deal, or find out what shows will be on demand, become a fan on Facebook and follow them on Twitter. You can also visit the official website for more information.
