The Huffington Post has named Lupita Nyong’o a breakout artist for her role in12 Years A Slave‘.   Mentioning her in the same line as Edward Norton, Natalie Portman, Marlee Matlin and Orson Welles, they note that she has been pegged to be the only woman who can prevent Oprah Winfrey from getting her first Oscar. ‘Gem of the Rainforest‘ will be showing at the Holiday Inn in Georgetown DC on September 13, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

‘Gem of the Rainforest’ is a story about a two-faced diamond mask stolen from Africa some three hundred years ago when the first white men landed on the shores of the River Niger. The rock suddenly resurfaces in the hands of a Texan resident, Dr. Dye Oppenheimer (played by Joe Grisaffi), for the first time in 300 years.
