A simple Saturday sales turns into an examination of character when an everyday experience is colored by a past event.
This film, which garnered 2nd place in the shorts competition at the 2008 Cine Noir Black Festival of Film, is one of many films by talented Nigerian-American actress/filmmaker Adetoro Makinde under her production company Backdoor Films. Steep features an impressive crew and cast, such as world renowned music composer, Terence Blanchard (Bamboozled, Crooklyn, Malcolm X, Love and Basketball, Talk To Me, Cadillac Records) and Christoper Scott Cherot (Hav Plenty, G), who serves as 1st assistant director on the film.
