The African Rainforest Conservancy is devoted to the conservation of the rapidly dwindling rainforests in Africa. Focused on Tanzania primarily, they have pioneered local forest management and grass roots community conservation, empowering the local villages to manage and benefit from the maintenance of the rainforests and coastal forests.
