Ahmed Ahmed is a stand-up comedian who was born in Egypt but raised in California. At the age of 19 he decided to do comedy, and act. His acting credits are extensive and include parts in JAG, IronMan, Executive Decision, Swingers, Tracey Takes On, Virtuosity, Steel Sharks, All In, Roseanne, and Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. 
He has also been featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal (December 2001), and Newsweek Magazine. The list is impressively long, with appearances in Stand Up: Muslim-American Comics Come of Age on the Public Broadcasting Station (PBS), Fahrenheit 9/11, and Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days & 30 Nights.
Ahmed Ahmed was the winner of the first annual Richard Pryor Award for ethnic comedy at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in Scotland in the summer of 2004. His foray into screenwriting includes a script titled ‘The Pilgrimage‘, and he co-wrote ‘Google Me’ with comedian Erik Griffin.
