Chris Rock spends quite a bit of time in Africa and is currently in South Africa on his “No Apologies” tour. South Africa has been hit by violence in the last few weeks as native South Africans take their frustrations out on the immigrant African and other foreign populations.
In an interview on Monday, he stated that he felt safe despite the violence, and viewed the situation as a “broke on broke” violence situation. Over 10,000 people have been forced to flee their homes as frustrated South Africans take out their anger on the foreigners who they accuse of taking jobs and being responsible for crime.
