Dirk Nowitzki, an NBA player with the Dallas Mavericks, tied the knot with his Kenyan/Swiss girlfriend, Jessica Olsson, in a traditional Kenyan wedding. According to MediaTakeout.com, he delivered the dowry of cattle wearing traditional garb.
The Dallas Mavericks superstar said that the wedding is the first of the two wedding ceremonies. “This is one of two wedding set-ups that we have planned to undertake and the ceremony has been very beautiful,” said Dirk.
Nowitzky proposed to Olsson on Valentine’s day. Jessica Olsson is the sister of Marcus Olsson and Martin Olsson who both play soccer for the English Premier League. She works at the Goss-Michael Foundation art gallery in Dallas, Texas.
