Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday celebration might have began early in London but today is actually the legend’s official birthday. At 90 year’s old it actually makes sense that there is only so little wishes that one can ask for themselves but a lot they can wish upon the world. For his birthday wish when asked Mandela said that his only desire is for people to come together and keep alive his Nelson Mandela Foundation, Nelson Mandela Children’ s Fund, and the Mandela Rhodes Foundation.
Stars of South Africa and the communities came together today to celebrate Madiba’s birthday through music, dance and songs, promising to never forget what he always stood for and his 90th birthday wish.
