I think this is a wonderful move on the part of Elizabeth Arden! However, Jamati’s use of the word “black face” is inappropriate and borders on offensive. There’s a BIG difference between saying that “Lerato Moloi has just made history as the first black face of Elizabeth Arden” and “Lerato Moloi has just made history as the first African spokesmodel for Elizabeth Arden” or even saying that “Lerato Moloi has just made history as the first black spokesmodel for Elizabeth Arden.”
I hope that as a website representing Africans around the world, Jamati will be more careful with its word choice in the future.

Why is it not offensive when we say: “white face”, I think in a world of Poverty and Natural Disasters it seem pathetic to worry about such menial issues, if you have too much time on your hands rather become a member on GREEN PEACE and save a whale. It seems some people never get tried of finding ways to be offended.
