MTV Staying Alive: Ignite launched an innovative campaign to fight HIV/AIDS in developing countries. Kenya’s show ‘Shuga‘, designed to teach people the consequences of different types of behaviors recently launched and it speaks in the language of the local youth.
Done in “Sheng”, a mix of English, Swahili, and other local languages, it takes you through the lives of several young people who are living their lives and making choices. Take a look at this first episode and let us know what you think.

Has Nollywood delivered anything of this quality and standard yet? coupled with social responsibility?? Nollywood watchers na you I dey ask ooo! When will Africans stop waiting on the White man to initiate innovative programs to save our people???? Or are there any African groups sacrificing their time, finances and resourses to help Africans (without making a profit) that I don’t know about? i beg tell me ooo!!
