This will be a treat for our readers in Ghana who have never seen Blitz the Ambassador live.  He will be performing live in Accra, Ghana at the Alliance Francaise on October 15, 2011.  Blitz will be joined by his band, the Embassy Ensemble and he will be coming from his trip to Hamburg, Germany where he is scheduled to appear in a concert on September 27, 2011. Chinua Achebe forces 50 Cent to change title of movie

African legendary author Chinua Achebe has forced the American rapper 50cent, to change his upcoming movie’s name. The rapper intended to use the title of “Things Fall Apart” for his upcoming movie, a title of Chinua Achebe’s most acclaimed novel and most read in Africa which has sold over 8 million copies worldwide.

Motshegetsi Mabuse danced into her dreams

Motshegetsi a.k.a Motsi, Mabuse always had a passion for dancing.  So strong was her passion that, although she went to study law at the University of Pretoria, she left law school after two years and began a full time training with a state grant at the North-West Arts Council in South Africa.  In 1998 she was the South African vice-champion.
