‘RocknRolla’ premiered in London and Youssou N’dour was in Colorado at the 35th Telluride Festival.  Celestina Aladekoba helped premiere a CD.

Estelle’s label, Warner, removed her album from iTunes, in a bid to force people to purchase the entire album.  No word yet on whether it will help or hurt her.

Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker are trying to raise money for their daughter and 9 other children who have Spina Bifida.  Spina Bifida is a birth defect that affects the brain and/or spineof about 8 babies a day.  You can donate to the cause and learn more about it on Boris’ website.

Lionel Loueke is currently touring with Herbie Hancock and Charlize Theron was in Venice celebrating her newest film, ‘The Burning Plain’.

Damon Dash isn’t having such a positive run right now.  He has lost his rights to Pro-Keds, and is going through foreclosure for two of his homes.  Let’s hope this is a temporary phase.
