It has only been four years since 50 Cent and his crew, G-Unit, performed in South Africa and it is clear his fans have missed him dearly. Judging by the stir he’s causing in the entertainment industry, 50 Cent and G-unit’s concert is going to be one of the biggest concerts to take place in South Africa. The last time he performed there it became history and the same is expected this time around.
50 Cent and the G-Unit crew are scheduled for two performances only, one in Johannesburg, at the Coca- Cola the Dome, and one in Cape Town at the Belville-Velodrome. A few local hip-hop artists including ProKid, Hip-Hop Pantsula, and KoldProduct are scheduled to perfom at the concert. 50 Cent’s first performance is scheduled for May 1, 2008.
