Well folks, the Washington DC area is again going to be honored with yet another hot Nigerian artist–Flavour. He is famous for his controversial song, ‘Ashawo (Nwa Baby)‘ which has already been banned in Malawi for not being up to their standards. Nevertheless, his infectious dance tunes have garnered him a strong following across Africa, including Kenya, South Africa, Cameroon, Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Tanzania.
Flavour sings fluently in Igbo and Nigerian pidgin English. His other popular songs include ‘N’abania‘, and’ Oyi (I Dey Catch Cold)‘. He collaborated with MC Loaf, Mr. Raw (formerly Niga Raw), and MI and continues to build up his fan base with great songs.
The Washington DC show is scheduled to take place on December 10, 2011 at the Plum Orchard Center at 12210 Plum Orchard Dr Silver Spring, Maryland 20904. Doors open at 9 p.m. You can purchase tickets on this website, or contact Coyah Productions by phone at 202-375-0960 or email at mycoyah@gmail.com.
