Jaqee is a Ugandan musician based in Sweden who has won several awards and has a large following in Sweden. Her first album, Blaqalixious, was a collaboration between her and her childhood friend, Kiboy a.k.a. Wawesh.  The album had a heavy rotation on the airwaves, earned her a Grammy nomination, and  won her a Manifest award. 

Her latest album, Novelle d’Amour, promises to be another hit.  Penned with Mattias Hellberg, this album promises to deliver another set of hits.  This particular album runs the gamut of musical genres and will suit everyone’s taste.  Funny Games has a soft punk rock, reggae, new age sound to it with a hint of African flavor.  Castara Blues has more of a country reggae feel to it and one can’t help but tap their toes in time to the guitar.  Karma has a new age feel to it and shows off her vocal range and unique delivery.
