Kenna has great crossover appeal and is now partnering with Zune to offer a custom digital media player.

Zune has teamed with the artist Kenna to produce a black 4GB custom Zune media player featuring an original piece of art designed by Kenna and Jeff McMillan called “The Translator.” The artwork is engraved on the back of the player and the devices are numbered and limited to 200 pieces. The custom player is also loaded with the “Say Goodbye to Love” video (directed by Hype Williams), and Kenna’s full album “Make
Sure They See My Face.”

Through a promotion in conjunction with Interscope Records and Kenna’s single “Say Goodbye to Love,” radio listeners at ten different stations can tune in on Valentine’s Day and have a chance to win one of the custom devices. Each winner also receives an exclusive poster based upon the original artwork. “The Zune vision incorporates community and relationships allowing us to share the things we love. Music is one of the things we love. I am excited to share that vision,” says Kenna.

The promotion marks the beginning of several exciting initiatives that Kenna and Zune are building together to roll out during the coming months. Participating stations are KUBE Seattle, KXJM Portland, KPTY Houston, KYLD San Francisco, KBMB Sacramento, KBDS Bakersfield, KZON Phoenix, XHTZ San Diego, KSEQ Fresno, and KCAQ Oxnard.
