I’v always said from the time her album dropped that her single “Feel Good” should be some kind of a daily anthem as its lyrics carry with them a message of truth, simplicity, and profoundness.
Ms Lira’s “Feel Good” album is a joyful and energetic life filled experience birthed with an exciting amount of passion. Its mix of music genres and languages are all beautifully blended in to capture one’s attention. This jazz-fusion artist took me through an unforgettable journeyto a carefree world were the only language that existed was laughter that echoed the beautiful languages of Africa.
As I allowed Lira’s moving work to move me I started moving to the Latin rhythms that reminded me of the legendary Sergio Mendes. Very quickly her lyrics from ” You are my Partner in the Dance of Life” saved me from my confusion and kept me swinging my hips more and more as a similar tune blended with a mixture of soothing jazz sounds emerged carrying lyrics that reminded me “how we should never make people a priority when to them we are only an option’.
All in all Ms Lira’s “Feel Good” album was a light-filled jazz, fusion, and latin experience that is worth sharing with all fans of music. For all the jazz , fusion and african music lovers this is a must-have for your collection.
