Slum Village is a two piece Detroit band consisting of T3 and Elzhi, that emerged in the music scene in the late 1990’s. During their life span in the music industry, Slum Village has released multiple number one hits like ‘Selfish’, ‘Do You’, ‘Dirty’,'Keep Holding On’ and ‘Old girl/Shinning star‘.
Slum village has shared the stage with the likes of John Legend and Kanye West. Although it’s been quite a while since the duo released an album, they seem to be more than ready to invade South Africa fans with their ‘I Luv Hip-Hop’ music series tour, scheduled to take place 24 – 26 April 2009, in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
