Nottingham Forest striker Junior Agogo has completed his move to Egyptian powerhouse, Zamalek Sporting Club for an undisclosed fee. The former Barnet and Queens Park Rangers forward has become a regular for the Black Stars of Ghana, scoring the winning goal in his country’s 2-1 victory over arch-rivals, Nigeria, in the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
Agogo, 28, has signed a three year deal with the Egyptian Cup holders following a two year spell at the City Ground. He initially moved to Forest from Bristol Rovers in August 2006 for an undisclosed fee, and scored 13 goals as Forest won promotion from League One to the Championship at the end of the 2007/2008 season.
