Striker Demba Ba has completed his move from Newcastle to Chelsea.
Ba signed a three-year deal with Chelsea and will be eligible for selection for Saturday’s FA Cup third-round match at Southampton. He will wear shirt number 29.
Ba is currently tied for third place with Michu of Swansea City in the Premiere League for high scores, with a total of 13 goals so far. The top scorer is Robin Van Persie (16 goals) of Manchester United, and Luis Suarez (15 goals) of Liverpool is a close second.
