Young Freddy Adu is at it again, showing us why he went pro at such an early age. He scored the winning goal against Panama and helped launch the U.S. team into the group stage of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Although the U.S. appeared to be in control for most of the game, they couldn’t quite seem to get the ball into the goal. Freddy came to the rescue in the 42nd minute with a well-placed ball that cinched their position in the group stage of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
Freddy Adu is now 18 years old and has been a professional soccer player for 4 years. A talented player, he had been attracting attention from the time he was 10 years old. He was smart enough to win the first art contest he entered, and skipped 7th grade. He was signed to Benfica in Portugal where he is an extremely valuable player. I guess when you are a genius, there’s nothing to it but to do it. Visit his website to learn more about him.
