South African batsman, Jonty Rhodes, is lending his talents to the Kenyan cricket team. He will be coaching the Kenya team until the Cricket World Cup that is scheduled to begin February 19, 2011. The Cricket World Cup will be hosted by Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and India.
Rhodes previously worked with the team in November last year during a three-week training camp in Pretoria. He is a former Proteas star, who played first-class cricket for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, KwaZulu-Natal and Natal. He retired from Test cricket in 2000.
To date he is still a familiar figure in the cricket circuit.
