If Robert Cheruiyot wins the Boston Marathon, he will be the fourth man, and the first Kenyan to win the Boston Marathon title four times in a row.
He broke the record when he won the marathon for the second time in a record 2 hours, 7 minutes and 14 seconds.
Kenyans have won all but 2 Boston Marathon titles since 1991 so he would be continuing a trend (unless of course Kinisa Bekele) decides to join the race. That could get interesting. Interestingly, Lance Armstrong, the Tour de France winner, will be running in this race too.
The Boston Marathon is scheduled to take place today.
