Scotland has been playing a series of friendly matches and most recently played South Africa’s All Blacks. In a very spirited game on Sunday November 11, 2012, they lost 22-51 to the All Blacks.

With barely a week to recover and re-adjust, they now have to face South Africa’s Springboks. It might work to their advantage that the Springboks are missing 14 of their top players. Among the missing are Tendai ‘Beast’ Mtawarira who stayed back due to illness. Others who are missing include Bryan Habbana, Jaque Fourie and Pier Spies.
The Boks are not to be underestimated though. They have been known to come back from an underdog position to win the game. The same can be said of Scotland who recovered from a stinging 3-49 loss to the All Blacks in the autumn of 2010 to beat the Boks in the next game 21-17. These details alone make this a game that should be worth every minute of viewing.
