This stunning sister was born in Ethiopia in 1975 to Somalian parents. She was first discovered by French TV personality Nicholas Hulot. He then introduced her to the Elite Modeling Agency where she had the opportunity to work with African designer Xuly Bet in the late 1990’s. From there Kadra went on to do runway shows for various European designers.
She now calls New York her home and has worked on such major commercial campaigns as Banana Republic, Loreal and Liz Claiborne to name just a few. In fact, Kadra has also lent her face to the Black is Beautiful campaign series that can be seen in Essence magazine.
