Auditions for West Africa’s Next Top Model Now On
West Africa’s Next Top Model project is now officially underway.
This is the official show, co-signed by CBS, the licensor for America’s Next Top Model and all its international formats.
Kate Menson, a new Face of Africa
The striking 23-year-old was discovered in the Accra casting earlier in the year. Her progress throughout this year’s season of M-Net’s Face of Africa has been a constant inspiration to viewers, who discovered earlier in the month that although Kate had auditioned for the search in 2006, she hadn’t qualified at the time because she needed to hone her talent and work on developing her physique.

Not only is Fumi “Trinity” Desalu, all beauty and brains intertwined together but she is a “female warrior”, a true representation of what a dreamer is a all about. Sera Lubowa – Miss Uganda 2007
Sera Lubowa was born in Kampala, Uganda, moved to Paris, France when she was 6 years old, and then moved to Texas to live with her mother who had moved away earlier. At age 7, she enrolled in Kendal Dance Studio to learn Ballet and Jazz. She helped create the L.D. Bell Steppers at L.D. Bell High school, led them to the Legacy of Champions, and enrolled in the KD Studio Actors Conservatory while she was in high school.
She was discovered during a club photo shoot and introduced to modeling. Crowned Miss Uganda 2007-2008, she has gone on to use her fame to draw attention to foundations like Invisible Children, Children on a Mission, and KACI&I. To learn more about her, visit her website.
Hawa Ahmed – Winner of Next Top Model Sweden 2007
Hawa Ahmed competed in the Swedish Next Top Model competition and walked away the grand prize winner. It is no surprise that she won, as she is beautiful, graceful, and intelligent.

Kinee Diouf first exploded on the scene in 2006 when she signed with Nathalie Paris. She moved on to New York Models the same year and, in March, debuted at the Givenchy and Vivienne Westwood shows in Paris. She has also walked for Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, and Yves Saint Laurent, and been part of the 2006 Gap campaign.
She has been on several magazines, including Italian Flair, French Revue de Modes, Italian Vanity Fair, Times T Style, Numéro, Another Magazine, and German Vogue. Her campaigns include Benetton and M.A.C. Cosmetics.
