Cameroon Remain Atop African Rankings

Cameroon have moved two places higher in the latest FIFA world rankings and now stand 12th on the global table. The Indomitable Lions remain the highest placed African side – 10 places ahead of Egypt, who lie 22nd in the worldwide list – and are now two positions ahead of England and lie just behind France.

Cameroon remain Africa’s top-rated national side in FIFA’s official rankings released in September. Despite not playing a match in the last month, the Indomitable Lions have climbed one place to 14th in the latest list issued by football’s world governing body.

Ghana are the second-ranked African side – also dropping a place to 20th, whilst Egypt remain third on the continental list, just behind Ghana in 21st. » Read more…
