What’s in a Name – Benin to Shed ‘The Squirrels’ Tag?
In English, the nickname of the Benin national team, “Les Ecureuils,” translates into “The Squirrels.” Unfortunately, the country’s sports ministry has decided it is not fearsome enough. Really? Yes, trivial.
