His art has the ability to rise above current human conditions, creating a sense of consciousness and freedom. He’s carved a sound that blends the traditional rhythms of Africa with the boom-bop sound of hip-hop and the spirit lifting melodies of soul music, drawing comparisons to the likes of Ben Harper and K-OS.
