Nollwood now on Demand
Nollywood is hitting the bigtime! Thanks to a deal signed with Brandcast Media Inc., folks in the US will now be able to watch Nollywood movies on Xfinity on Demand, Cox or Time Warner beginning February 1, 2013.

Nigeria (Nollywood) has been producing films at a rate of 200 per month, placing them ahead of the U.S. (Hollywood) and behind the Indian film industry (Bollywood). It was therefore is inevitable that their paths would collide.

Nollywood’s ‘Paparazzi’ Premieres in the States.
Syr Law has recently graced the pages of Jamati since her latest role in the Nollywood film, “Paparazzi – Eye in the Dark.” Since January 2011, red carpet premieres for the movie have been showcased around the United States. People sighted at these premieres include Syr Law, Van Vicker, J.J. Bunny, Koby Maxwell, Bayo Akinfemi – the Director, and a host of Nollywood patriots, fans and well-wishers.
The premiere which has taken place in cities like Washington DC and Chicago, was viewed by both Nollywood and Hollywood audiences with over 250 people respectively. The Paparazzi team have been getting exciting feedback so far, especially from people who can’t believe it is a Nollywood film and can’t wait to have it in cinemas.
