I am so super excited to share that “Driis”, the alter ego of actor Idris Elba and DJ Driis has finally released his awaited album titled “High Class Problem Vol 1″. The album was recently released in England where Driis calls home and so fare it has been well received as it paints a different picture from the Idris Elba, the actor.

Idris Elba is having a stellar year already. His new movie ‘Obsessed‘, filmed with Beyonce Knowles, was the highest grossing film taking in $28.5 million in ticket sales for Sony Corporation. It beat ‘Mean Girls‘ for the for the best last-April-weekend opening ever. He was also sighted at a pre-draft party with Osi Umenyiora and Michael Strahan, and at the British Academy Television Awards. » Read more…

Idris Elba seems to be able to rack up all kinds of roles. From a man who is fighting to get his kids back in Tyler Perry’s ‘Daddy’s Little Girls‘, to an executive who is fighting to save his family from an obsessed temp in Obessed, or the thug in The Wire, American Gangster, and RocknRolla, he has proven that he is versatile and a major box-office draw.
