Fast growing Hollywood golden child, Kwesi Boakye has agreed to be amongst over 50 celebrity designers asked to custom make a “Verymeri” t-shirt for “NextAid” Foundation. Kwesi was elated when his creative design was chosen by Nordstrom department stores nationwide and he donated 100% of his royalties from the sale of the tees to “NextAid” non-profit of Los Angeles.

Okay, so I received an email from Rych McCain titled ‘Rych McCain’s 6th Annual 2010 List of Hollywood’s Most Talented Youth!’ and I asked myself Rych McWho? But as I downloaded his attachment I realised he has carved a name for himself by compiling this annual list for some time now- and of course Google was very resourceful as always! What even excited me the most about the list was the fact that a Ghanaian made it to the list.
Kwesi & Hope:Tyler Perry’s New Hollywood Rising Stars
Tyler Perry is the master at discovering new talent and inaugurates two young rising African stars 10-year old Kwesi Boakye and Hope Olaide Wilson, to his latest number one film “I Can Do Bad All By Myself.” The film hit theaters on Friday, September 11th. The red carpet was rolled out for the screening, held several days prior in the heart of Chelsea, Manhattan. The premier generated a media frenzy as we all waited in line to get the best shot, sound bite or a quick interview from the all star cast: Taraji Henson, Gladys Knight, Mary J. Blige and Tyler Perry.
