Last Man Standing

In a very unlikely turn of events, there are now two ladies and just one gentleman remaining in the Apprentice Africa reality TV show. When the competition started some three months ago, the members of the female team, Matrix Corp were falling out week in, week out. But due to subsequent reshuffling and mixing ups, some of the ladies found winning ways in their new teams.

Let’s Mix It Up A Little

Bekeme Mesade - Apprentice Africa
The C.E.O decided to reorganize the teams in episode 7. So after the teams had chosen their project managers, Bekeme and Nnamdi, the CEO asked them to assemble new teams by alternating gender. To add some extra twist to the reshuffle, each project manager was asked to select the members of the opposite team. This brought the 6-week battle of the sexes to an ended. The new members of Matrix Corporation were Bekeme, Nancy, Eddie, Oscar, Regina, and Blessing. While in Zulu Corp were Nnamdi, Deox, Kathleen, Eunice, Tunde, and Isaac.

The new teams were tasked to create an original brand identity for roasted peanuts. Matrix Corp came out with the name Nutty Nuts for their brand while Zulu settled for Zizi Nuts. After some elaborate designing, packaging and even producing jingles and mascots for their various brands, it was soon time for the exhibition and assessment of both brands. The focus group analyzed the merits and demerits of the brandished brands, questioning each team’s ideology behind their brand. Zulu’s mascot caught their curiosity, and Eddie had to defend the absence of a Matrix mascot. Eddie answered that their mascot was already on the package of their product. » Read more…
