Idris Elba Will Be A Loser
Idris Elba seems to be able to rack up all kinds of roles. From a man who is fighting to get his kids back in Tyler Perry’s ‘Daddy’s Little Girls‘, to an executive who is fighting to save his family from an obsessed temp in Obessed, or the thug in The Wire, American Gangster, and RocknRolla, he has proven that he is versatile and a major box-office draw.

‘RocknRolla’ premiered in London and Youssou N’dour was in Colorado at the 35th Telluride Festival. Celestina Aladekoba helped premiere a CD.

Idris Elba and Thandie Newton in RocknRolla
Idris Elba and Thandie Newton will be in the new movie about a Russian mobster who orchestrates a crooked land deal, putting millions of dollars up for grabs and attracting all of London’s criminal underworld. A dangerous crime lord, a sexy accountant, a corrupt politician and a band of petty thieves are among those who work really hard to double-cross one another.
The movies features a star studded cast including Gerard Butler, Jeremy Piven, Ludacris (yes, Ludacris!), and Jamie Campbell Bower give their all to the movie. Thandie is the sexy accountant (in case you weren’t sure). Overall it will be interesting to see what the viewers think of the movie–A Guy Ritchie production in the vein of “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels“. Thandie Newton Does it Again!
Thandie Newton’s latest movie, Run, Fat Boy, Run, is slated to open in theaters on March 28, 2008. She plays a jilted pregnant bride, Libby, who’s husband-to-be, Dennis (Simon Pegg), runs out on her on the day of their wedding. Years later he comes back and realizes that he still loves her. She, however, has moved on and is dating a young man, Whit (Hank Azaria), who is great with her son, and very accomplished. » Read more…
